The days leading up to Christmas were filled with sweet nothings. We enjoyed our time together as a family of four. Daddy was off from work, Paulie was on school break, and we didn't have any real plans and we enjoyed the dailiness of our everyday lives. I received the book, "Mitten Strings to God" for Christmas and the author discusses the importance of living in the moment and not always looking forward to the next big event. This is no new struggle, but yet it does take some practice to fully engage in the here and now and appreciate the dailiness of our lives. This blog may make it seem as though my live is just one event after another but most of my truly blessed moments are not usually captured on film...Such as Paulie's funny conversations he has with me we are driving around in the car. Or when Paulie and Molly are sharing toys and playing together quietly. Or when Paulie runs into my arms because he's just went potty. Or Molly and Paulie splashing and laughing in the bathtub together. Or when Molly falls asleep in my arms and her little hand grasps the neck of my shirt. There are many of these moments in our lives and yet we don't see them! Or rather we don't take the time to breath in the sweetness. (*Deep Breathe....Awwww....Smells good doesn't it)
Guess who is officially a size 3 and able to wear her squeaky shoes?!....Mommy! Just kidding.
Guess who found the cubby hole in the media sofa? And all the remotes?
"Here Molly, Let me lick your face!"
Molly just loves her red and white Christmas Hat!
She also loves her brother's Train Conductor Hat and Whistle!
Baking some sugar cookies and making soup!
Do you want some cookie with your sprinkles?
"Oh Henry, you silly elf! Of course we will make some cookies for you and Santa!"
Parktime!
"Hi Paulie, Are you suppose to be using the camera?"
Nice clarity on this photo Paulie!
Yep, it got cold here in TX! And nope, it did not stop us (them) from going outside!
"Again, are you suppose to be using that camera? Second, is my hat on straight?"
