Paulie was excited to see Santa Claus again this year. He started talking about the big guy way back in November (doesn't seem like that long ago!) so about a week into December I decided we'd go see Santa at the Memorial City Mall. Paulie was excited...reindeer antlers & red sweater....he was ready! What he wasn't ready for was Molly's sudden outburst as soon as I set her on Santa's lap. Molly is such a chill little girl, I wasn't anticipating such emotion but she was NOT Santa's biggest fan. Kind of reminds me of
this little dude. So while Molly was in full blown hysterics Paulie just stared at her in confusion ("Why are you ruining this for me?"). Finally I told him to do what he does best and ignore Molly. "Just look at the camera Paulie" and this is what I got...
Poor Molly! Somehow a crying little girl does not make for a good Christmas card...It's just not cute or funny...Pathetic is more like it! And Poor Paulie, he waited so long for this moment....At least he got to tell Santa he wanted a LONG Firetruck. Oh and not to fret, he's since seen and sat on Santa 5 or 6 times!
Maybe next year everyone will LOVE Santa...Maybe next year!

That is the cutest picture, Kyra!! (Second only to your Christmas card picture with Paulie crying on Santa's lap!) What a good sport Paulie is! I guess Santa heard him over all the noise as he DID bring Paulie a long firetruck for Christmas!
